Honest Childhood are a training and consultancy company who support early years providers with the professional development of teachers, leaders and practitioners. Based in Yorkshire we deliver training, consultancy and online courses designed to create pedagogical improvements in early education settings. 

Our trainers are passionate about making a difference to children's childhood through combining the expertise of the organisation with individual needs, aspirations and priorities of practitioners, early years providers and local authorities.

Owner of Honest Childhood

Qualified with a Masters in Early Childhood, Qualified Teacher Status, and TISUK Trauma and Mental Health Practitioner status, Rachael has worked as a Primary School Teacher, Senior Leader in Schools, Local Authority Early Years Consultant and University Lecturer.

Our aim is simple: to ensure that policy makers, early years professionals and their settings understand and respond appropriately to the needs of young children.

 

By supporting the early years sector, we want you to be able to give all children the best start in life and feel confident so that you can do the best for your children.

We believe that early childhood are the most important years in life and deserve to be supported and protected. Early years professionals are instrumental in this journey.

We are not afraid to see things differently and challenge the status quo. We are here to create spaces to debate, critique and collaborate so we can be the best version of ourselves.
